“Vanessa’s Valley”
Vanessa’s
Valley is the story of a secret being kept. Vanessa Taylor
is a troubled fifteen-year-old girl for whom life has not been
fair. By accident Vanessa falls upon a secret so large she
just does not know what to do. She is unsure whether she can
handle it, whether she is smart enough or whether she even really
wants the responsibility. She does know that for the sake of
many other people the secret must be kept and protected. It
appears for the first time, in her life, she has fallen onto
something more important than she is or her seemingly petty
problems.
Vanessa shares the
secret with someone who has carried the secret tremendously
longer, however, in the end he cannot be of much help. It now
falls to Vanessa to deal with everything, but how, after all,
isn’t she just a fifteen-year-old girl from Boston, Massachusetts?

Paula L. LaRoche
(Portland, Maine) A must read for children
and adults alike. Mr.
Story has the imagination needed to create this wonderful tale.
His ability to look at life through the innocent eyes of a
child is refreshing. I
look forward to his next book with great anticipation.
***** I’d like to find
this place myself – 9/23/06
Rit
Walker;
"American Jukebox," WBNW Radio
(Boston, Massachusetts) This is a story that will
capture your imagination. A book for younger audiences written as if
it were being told by someone who was there, it leaves you waiting
for more. A fantastic
journey as experienced by a 15 year old girl from Boston.
Makes you wonder about a “follow up” book.

Mr. Story writes a
compelling and fun story. He
seems to understand all to well how the mind of a teenaged girl
works! I’m looking
forward to reading a follow up book, and have recommended this
book to a number of people!
Katelyn
J. Richards “11 Years Old” (Woburn,
MA) I
love the Vanessa's Valley series! It's full of suspense and drama.
The books are full of adventures and keep you craving for
more. This book will
take you through the crazy, dramatic adventures of the valley.
I recommended this book to my entire 6th grade class and
recommend it to all children
young and old, as well as adults (that dare to take the
adventure). I
am looking forward very much to more of Mr. Story's books. Keep up
the good work.
